AIMMA Elects New Board Members and Officers for 2006
November 10, 2005 --- Bedford Hills, NY ---
The American Independent Media Manufacturers Association (AIMMA) has
announced a new slate of board members and officers. The new leadership
was elected at the group’s recent meeting held November 4 and 5 in St.
Petersburg Florida.
Founded in 1987 as the AVDA, AIMMA members
comprise the majority of the non-theatrical media manufacturing capacity
in the North American Market. The association meets twice a year, and its
recent event was co-venued with a meeting of the Colonial Purchasing
Co-op.
Three new board members were elected and
officers named. New board members Ray Zerrusen of OEM, Doug Franzen of
Evatone and Michael Weiss of Video Labs Corporation will join serving
members Jad Porter of Design Video Communications and Randy Hermance of
Nuvidia. Zerrusen , Franzen and Weiss will fill departing board seats
previously held by Melodie Gee of Inoveris, Dennis Eickhoff of DCA Media
Solutions, and Peter Schimpf of Horizon Duplication.
The board elected the following officers:
President: Jad Porter, Design Video
Communications
Vice President: Ray Zerrusen, OEM
Vice President for Membership: Bill Dudley, Immodicus
Secretary: Michael Weiss, Video Labs Corporation
Treasurer: Joseph Barber, CineMagnetics
Dennis Eickhoff had previously served as
AIMMA’s president for the past two years.
The two day AIMMA meeting included a tour
of member facility Evatone located in Clearwater Beach. Hospitality event
sponsors were Anwell Technologies, Fujifilm Sericol and GIMA SpA.
