We Mourn The Loss Of Patricia Smith
The AIMMA was saddened
to learn of the death of Patricia (Patsy) Smith, loving wife of past
Executive Director and current Lifetime Honorary Member Bill Smith.
Patsy passed away on March 13, 2006 at the couple's home in Monterey,
California. After Bill's retirement as President of Allied Film and
Video, Patsy and he split their time between homes in Michigan and
California.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill, his children Scott, Wendy and
Kendall, and his four granddaughters. Arrangements for a spring memorial
service in Michigan will be announced at a later date. In lieu of
flowers, the Smith family requests contributions be made to Detroit
Public Television, 1 Clover Court, Wixom, MI 48393 or the Detroit
Institute of Arts, 5200 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Michigan 48202.
